Who we are

This site is run by TresPies LLC, an independent design and technology studio in Madison, Wisconsin. Your contact is Cruz Romero Morales. We are not WHEDA and are not affiliated with WHEDA.

What we collect and why

When you use the building check, we collect what you type into it:

• your name, email, and, if you give them, your phone number and organization;
• your role and the building's address and municipality;
• your answers about the building, and any notes;
• your consent choices;
• the outreach code in the link that brought you here, if there was one (for example, from a letter), so we know which outreach works.

We use this information only to assess whether your building may fit WHEDA's Restore Main Street program and to follow up with you about this program. If your building is not a fit, we may also tell you about other housing-finance options for the same building. We do not use it for anything else.

Where it is stored

Your answers are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database in the United States.

So we can follow up with you, TresPies also keeps a working copy on its own computer, and our emails to you about your building are kept in our business email account (Google Workspace). When we delete your information, we delete these copies too.

Who sees it

TresPies sees it. If you check the optional sharing box, we may also share your answers with lenders and with a Dane County community development partner working on this program, so they can help with your application. We do not share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We delete your information when you ask us to. Either way, we delete it no later than 12 months after this funding round closes.

How to have it deleted

Email cruz@trespiesdesign.com and ask us to delete your information. Tell us the email address you used in the check so we can find it.

What we never do

• We never sell your information.
• We do not keep your IP address. To prevent abuse, we store only a scrambled code made from it with a secret key that only we hold (a salted hash), and we use that code only to limit repeated submissions.
• We do not store details about your browser or device.
• Our pages do not set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers.

Fonts

The fonts on this site load from Google Fonts. To get them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request.
